Job Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire an experienced, smart and motivated staff
- Understand the differentiated and evolving emotional and rational needs of customer segments as they migrate from trial to initial conversion and advocacy
- Set overall strategic vision and priorities of conversion initiatives
- Team up with direct sales business leaders to develop promotional strategies that deliver against goals, and when necessary with the appropriate sense of urgency and focus
- Collaborate with customer ops team to drive customer loyalty strategies and programs that encourage repeat purchases and word-of-mouth referrals
- Partner with the web and product strategy teams to measure and change the experiences to increase prospect to customer conversion and revenue/customer
- Champion the cross-functional execution of key strategies
- Work cross functionally to progress CRM technology infrastructure, driving business requirements that ensure the teams have tools to make smart decisions and deploy effective programs
- Collaborate with Acquisition Marketing and Finance Planning team to accurately forecast monthly and quarterly acquisitions and revenue
- Drive a strong "test and learn" culture balanced with effective prioritization to generate actionable insights
- Provide regular updates to marketing and management teams
- Inspire excellence within your team and make contributions beyond the scope of your position
Qualifications
- Strong relationship-builder; outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leader with positive history of inspiring high performing senior marketers
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills; intensely curious
- Minimum 12+ years relevant CRM marketing experience
- Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
- CRM program development and implementation experience is required; ideally with both B2B and/or B2C customer conversion programs
- Analytical skills to forecast sales, build tests, and model financials of potential marketing promotions
- Track record of making an impact on business results
- Experience at a major Internet business is desired
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience with marketing to SMBs is highly desired
