CONSTANT CONTACT APPOINTS STEFAN PIESCHE AS CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Technology veteran to drive new technologies, standards, architecture and design

Waltham, MA - September 08, 2009

Constant Contact (NasdaqGM: CTCT), a leading provider of email marketing and online surveys for small organizations, today announced that Stefan Piesche has joined the company as its chief technology officer. In his new role, Piesche will evaluate new technologies and drive them into the organization and throughout its products as well as expand the Company's products and service architecture to accommodate future growth and increased performance.

Piesche brings more than 15 years of technology leadership and management experience to the organization and was selected for his role based on his ability to combine technology vision with practical delivery capabilities and engineering best practices implementation.

Most recently, Piesche was executive director of enterprise architecture and chief architect at the Cobalt Group where he developed and drove corporate technology strategy and provided technical direction, design, and architecture for all product development. Piesche was also instrumental in the development of the Cobalt's J2EE eCRM suite and content-management solutions.

Prior to his eight-year tenure at Cobalt, Piesche served as a senior consultant for Trilogy Enterprises, a worldwide e-business company focused on the automotive and telecommunications industries. He also held the position of chief architect and senior consultant for 3linear Consulting where he led the architecture and delivery of products for the financial and airline industries for multiple clients across Europe.
